DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. -- Daniel Island has once again landed on a national list of top master-planned communities. For the third time, Where to Retire magazine has selected the island town as one of "America's 100 Best Master-Planned Communities," as announced in the magazine's July/August issue. In addition to evaluating the offerings of residential developments around the country, the magazine's editors talked with retirees about their relocation decisions, discovering in the process several notable trends that helped narrow the list of qualifying communities:
