DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. -- Rick Vale has been named Director of Sales and Broker-in-Charge at Daniel Island Real Estate, the market leader for residential real estate sales on Daniel Island. Formerly a Daniel Island Real Estate sales associate, Vale replaces Dan Kingsbury, who recently accepted a position with a Columbia, S.C.-based builder and developer.
Vale has been a top sales associate at Daniel Island Real Estate for more than five years. Earlier this year he began the transition into management, and most recently had assumed responsibility for the company’s resale listing program. In his new role, he will oversee a team of 18 sales associates and more than 15 staff members and will be responsible for all sales handled by the company. Vale’s years of experience at Daniel Island Real Estate – one of the top real estate sales organizations in the Southeast - will be invaluable as he transitions to this new position.

A Long Island native, Vale spent more than twenty years in the consumer electronics business before making the decision to change careers and relocate to Charleston in 1999 with his wife, Lorraine, and two children. He became involved in real estate in 2001 as a sales agent at I’On Realty and joined Daniel Island Real Estate in 2002.
